Process Management and Control System (PMCS) is a complete DDC (Direct Digital Control) and SCADA
(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system for process automation in the area of Biotechnology for the pharmaceutical
industry, R&D labs and universities worldwide. The PMCS software suite provides tools for defining and assembling low level realtime equipment, control module sequences as well as unit operation and batch recipe logic.
Custom Operator Interfaces
A plant-synoptic language allows for creating highly customized operator interfaces. Almost every control component can be
controlled either manually or automatically. Up to 9 operator password levels can be configured to manage access privileges.
Process Data Management
Historical data, e.g. logfiles, batch protocols and process parameter trends are also created and managed by the system.
These data may be
viewed, manipulated, and printed with the X-History application. Export functionality allows further treatment with other graphical tools, spreadsheet or database applications.
For companies or individuals requiring validation by the FDA and/or other governmental control instances, PMCS optionally contains the ERES (Electronic Records, Electronic Signature functionality defined in the US Code of Federal Regulations Chapter 21 Part 11 (21CFR11).
Batch Recipe Development, Scheduling and Monitoring
Develop batch procedures and recipes PMCS with the graphical PMCS
Recipe Editor. The tested and released procedures can then be scheduled with the associated Recipe Scheduler. To monitor and control
batch recipe processing PMCS provides a graphical Recipe Viewer.
And last but certainly not least, PMCS is scalable from lab-size research facilities with few control modules up to highly complex production plants
spanning several process units with thousands of controlled components.
